How does PSYCH-K® Work?

PSYCH-K® is an innovative approach to personal transformation that has been developed by decades of research, thousands of individual sessions and numerous workshops. It helps you access your subconscious mind and create a receptive “whole-brain state” which reduces resistance to change and allows for effective communication with the subconscious. PSYCH-K® can be likened to a “mental keyboard” – it’s easy to use and provides verifiable results. 

What Is Muscle Testing?

PSYCH-K® uses muscle testing (also known as kinesiology) as an effective, gentle and painless way to communicate with the subconscious mind. It can be used in many ways by different professionals – including chiropractors, osteopaths, naturopaths, physiotherapists, nutritionists and educators – to assess how an external stimulus such as food might adversely affect a person’s physical body. This method of feedback comes directly from the partner’s subconscious, not the practitioner – allowing for more control and power over personal transformation to remain in the hands of the partner. 

The subconscious mind controls the autonomic nervous system, sending electrical signals to the muscles at just the right time for a variety of tasks, such as reaching for an object. These signals can be impacted by how we think, with stressful thoughts reducing their strength and resulting in weakened muscle responses – as well as when something is not supported by our subconscious mind. During PSYCH-K®, this same process is put to use with a simple form of muscle testing using the muscle in one arm to determine both what thoughts may be stressing the body, and which ideas are accepted or not accepted at the subconscious level.

How Can PSYCH-K® Help Me?

Your subconscious beliefs set the limits of what you can accomplish. When it feels like one foot is on the accelerator and one on the brake, that’s a sign of a conflict between conscious goals and subconscious beliefs – which can manifest in relationships, job performance, self-esteem, prosperity, health and stress. What is a PSYCH-K® Balance and how quickly does it work?

A PSYCH-K® Balance is a process of guided self-discovery facilitated by the Facilitator. During the balance, you are taken through specific protocols using muscle testing (the form of muscle testing used in PSYCH-K® is called Applied Kinesiology) to determine both what thoughts may be stressing your body.  Once discovered, a process of transformation is used to replace old beliefs and emotional patterns with new ones that are more supportive. 

A PSYCH-K® Balance works to change the subconscious mind and create balanced communication between both halves of the cerebral cortex. Entering this ‘Whole-Brain State’ can reprogram the subconscious with new and self-enhancing beliefs that promote, rather than prevent, your goals.

 You’ll usually feel relaxed while in this state, and while you may experience some of its effects during the balancing session itself, results can take longer depending on the goal. For example, slimming down or physically improving might take months; while an interview goal could be achieved in a day. Post-session, it’s good to observe life changes – big or small – and see how they manifest.

Do I need to repeat affirmations for a period of time with PSYCH-K®?

No, that’s not necessary. The PSYCH-K® process is designed to help optimize the balance of your beliefs and values in order to bring about desired changes in your life. Affirmations are helpful for reinforcing positive new beliefs, but you don’t have to use them if you don’t wish to. 

To create long-term changes in the conscious mind, you need to repeat affirmations over and over. PSYCH-K® is an effective tool for bypassing this process by directly communicating with and altering the subconscious, so once new beliefs are established there’s no need to keep repeating them every day like you would with affirmations.

I have a condition/ illness. Can PSYCH-K® cure this for me?

PSYCH-K® is designed to complement rather than substitute professional medical treatment.

This approach changes any limiting subconscious beliefs that could affect physical health and well-being, even when those beliefs were acquired in early childhood and remain below conscious awareness.
